Thank you so much for donating drinks and snacks to my classroom last year! When all the boxes arrived my students were SO excited and had a lot of fun helping me open and unpack everything. They were amazed that my family, friends and strangers were willing to donate drinks and snacks for them. The instant latte coffee was especially a big hit!

Students need a mental and movement break, so getting up and making a drink provides a mini break. During study skills the students do sit a long time and study, and everyone likes a soothing hot drink as they work! The drinks are especially popular in the early morning and then the late afternoon classes, when students need a pick me up. All teenagers are ravenous, and they are always requesting snacks and food. East High School is a title one school, so many students rely on the free food available at school. I'm going to be honest, the free lunches are not always great and can be small, so students appreciate the snacks teachers provide.

At the end of last year all the supplies, snacks and drinks donated were gone. Everything was used and I had happy, grateful students! Your donation helped make my classroom a positive learning environment!”
