Kids remember 90% of what they teach. I teach in a public school in a very large city that has such a wonderfully diverse population of special education and ESL students. Over 95% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch. We are also constantly struggling to keep our students out of gangs and to keep the gang activity of our students outside the sanctity of our school walls.
