Creating a Cozy Classroom Library
Funded Nov 29, 2022The first arrival was our Big Joe beanbag chairs, which I set up when they were in Specials. My students eyed the boxes curiously that I had set out for our custodians, and it sounded like Christmas morning when they came into our classroom. With each new arrival, they had the same reaction each time. It warmed my heart to see how excited they were to see each new addition to our library.
You'll be happy to know that after everything was set up, our library was busier than ever! My students couldn't wait to form their own little book clubs now that all of my duplicate books had a dedicated home. Plus, the bean bag chairs have become one of the favorite places to read!
