Ocean Plastic Pollution Poster Projects

Funded Nov 28, 2022

Thank you for your kind donations. My students' eyes went wide when I explained to them how expensive poster boards and even markers could be, so they took good care of the materials. They certainly left a mess after some classes, but they were pretty good about making sure they weren't using paper, posters, glue, markers, etc. until they knew what they were going to do with them.

A few students chose to work on a smaller scale, and a few goofballs had to throw together a last-minute slideshow so they'd have a project at all, but most made good use of the poster boards. If you look through the photos, you'll see a few of them even added some decorative plastic trash.

This (semester) class is over now but my meteorology class has a project on storms coming up, so they'll be presenting on the science, socioeconomic costs, and safety precautions for various types of storms with the remaining materials.”

With gratitude,

Mr. Silverberg
