We've had many successful celebrations and meaningful moments in Class 2-2 with the help of your generous donation! We want to share the many ways your donation has impacted our classroom of 16 growing minds. There were a myriad of materials we requested whose purpose ranged from keeping our classroom clean, supporting the various ways we work, enhancing our curriculum and bringing us marvelous celebrations.

Thanks to you, our "book tasting" that we held in celebration of World Read Aloud Day was a big hit! The red and white checkered tablecloths set the ambience for a "fine dining" experience. Many of our learners donned on the paper chef hats as they "tasted" and rated each book experience in their personal notetakers. Of course, we served a varied cuisine of different genres. We happily share that we received 5-stars on our restaurant experience from the majority of our class.

The lap desks that you donated have also been a big hit. Students love writing on the lap desks in the library and around the room. We love having flexible seating options. All of the paper that was donated has been used for free drawing and for printing in our classroom and we have special projects planned for the spring with the butterfly kit. In science we have been making glue and the wipes has been crucial for keeping the classroom clean after our experiments.”
