Leveled Reading Library

Reading workshop is a form of Balanced Literacy that goes on n my classroom. Students are exposed to different genres of reading and writing and practice reading strategies throughout the literacy block. Having leveled readers for my students to choose from we increase their accessibility to text that are appropriate for their abilities. We have a classroom library that is in need of new material and tailored to their reading levels and interests. Some of the many high interest topics of my scholars are animals, planets, and video games.”
