  • Essential Classroom Supplies

    Your generosity has greatly impacted my classroom on so many levels. Our students deserve to have the basic essentials in their home away from home. They spend the majority of their time in the classroom and have a great need for general supplies.

    The Kleenex, construction paper, pencils, dry erase markers, and erasers are used every single day. We continue to strive to give these young minds every possible opportunity to excel. They feel safe and free from judgement because they could not afford to bring supplies because of YOUR generosity! They know they can have every opportunity that their peers have because of YOUR generosity! Thank you!”

  • Everything Has a Place

    Giving our students a place that is organized and managed means so much to some of our children. They often need the things that we take for granted. Your kindness and generosity has given my students a little structure and harmony in their home away from home- their classroom. They now have a place to put their supplies and they can be assured that they will be able to locate and use them when they need them. This seems like a small endeavor but it really makes a huge impact on the lives of these children. They know that people actually care about them. Thank you for being so generous!”

  • Developing a Love of Reading!

    My students were so excited when they came into my room and noticed all the new books! They immediately wanted to "borrow" them from my library. I could hear all the oohs and aahs as they were perusing the shelves. My own gratitude for your generosity is overflowing. It is so awesome to see a child grab a book and run to a corner to read it immediately. They asked me to tell all my wonderful donor friends thank you from the bottom of their hearts. I love seeing them excited about reading and you were such an integral part of that excitement. Your generosity truly does make a difference in a child's life!

    We are currently working on book clubs describing character traits. These books give them an opportunity to express their thoughts in unique ways. These books are also ALL creditable Reading Counts books, which is a big deal in our little school. They are always looking for new reads to grow their Reading Counts scores. Thank you for providing this!

    As always we have certain students who just devour books. I love that I can actually give them this opportunity to open a brand new book- smell that new book smell! I wish you could have seen the looks on their faces as they crowded around my bookshelf!”

  • The Child Who Reads... Succeeds!

    Our students are being impacted in such a positive way by your kindness and generosity. They are able to utilize the materials I ordered to help them become successful readers. Your donations have given them the ability to broaden their knowledge base and add more words to their worlds. They use the sticky notes and pencils to make predictions, to notice and wonder about the books they are reading, and they are highlighting their way to a better understanding of the text. We are now able to ask questions and analyze our way through Tuck Everlasting. I can't wait to see where your generosity takes them next!”
