'Cause I Ain't Got a Pencil

Thank you so much for choosing my classroom to donate to. Without you, my students would not have writing supplies to do their work. Something so simple as a pencil has enabled them to take their education into their own hands and feel like the world is their oyster. For some students, this was the first time in their life they felt like this.

When my students first saw the materials, they were overjoyed. They are unable to come to school with pencils, so when they saw boxes of them AND colored pens, they were overjoyed! Also, they so very much appreciated the hand sanitizer as sickness is known to float around in our classroom. Ultimately, my students felt heard and invested in.

Thank you so very much again. It means the world to me that you have shown my kiddos someone out there believes in them just as much as me.”
