Thank you for funding the project, "Warm, Clean, and Ready to Learn: Classroom Essentials." Thanks to you and your donation, my students have been able to keep warm when our room was the coldest in the building. Other teachers have even asked to borrow the heater when we aren't in our classroom! Moreover, the facial tissues and the aloe vera sanitizer has been put to good use as flu season is in full swing! The norovirus is currently going around the building, which helped prevent its spread. Thank you!”
Thank you for funding the project, "Manga Madness." Thanks to you, my students have had the opportunity to read books they normally don't get the chance to like Jujutsu Kaisen, The Seven Deadly Sins, The Promised Neverland, and Fruits Basket. These books are often the first ones to be picked up by students during our silent sustained reading sessions! Many students have seen the series but now they are excited to actually get to read the stories that inspired the animated shows. This project has also got students so excited to read that they already have books in mind for our next project!”
Thank you so much for funding the project, "Snack Relief: Nourishing Students, Fueling Success." Thanks to you my students have been able to fill their bellies with nutritious snacks! My students who have come in during first period, and have missed breakfast, are now happy to have something to eat in order to get their day started off right! Even throughout the day, students will come to me hungry and asking if I have snacks to give them. Now, thanks to you, I more than enough snacks to go around!”

Thank you for funding the project, "Facing the Mask Shortage." After winter break, the flu, colds, norovirus, RSV, and other infections were going around. Students were coughing and using tissue left and right. Thankfully, I was prepared for the students' return with black face masks to pass around! Additionally, the hand sanitizer has helped tremendously with reducing the spread around the classroom. My students appreciate the aloe vera in the sanitizer as it doesn't dry out their hands as often as traditional sanitizers.”

Thank you for funding the project, "Magnetic Reads: Pulling You in One Book at a Time." Because of your donation, my students are so excited to read for our upcoming silent sustained reading! I even have teachers now noticing my book collection and asking to borrow "Fruits Basket" for their students because it is so popular. Additionally, having books on the walls of the room have made a difference in students' attitudes about reading. Now more than ever are they excited to read for SSR on Fridays and are literally begging to read and/or take the books home!”

Thank you so much for funding the project, "DonorsChoose Me!" My students severely lack grammatical knowledge, for which the curriculum does not provide resources. For instance, my students struggle with capitalization, punctuation, and using commas correctly. With your contribution, my students can now access the resources they need with the help of Teachers Pay Teachers. I also will use Teachers Pay Teachers to bring in additional resources and current interests inside the classroom. My students will be so excited!”

Thank you so much for funding the project, "Finding Ourselves in Literature." Because of you, my students now have more books to choose from and books that reflect them on the classroom's bookshelves! Also, I am now able to offer the book "The Hate You Give" which is the most commonly requested book from my students! They were so excited to see it delivered and cannot wait for another silent sustained reading day to be able to get the chance to read it! Moreover, my student, who is obsessed with Spider Man, was thrilled to see the Spider Man based book. To add, my boys were excited to see books that reflect their lived experiences.”

Thank you so much for funding the project, "Pad & Snack: A Match Made in Comfort." Because of you, my students now have pads and sanitary products they can access when it is their time of the month. Due to your thoughtful donation, these students can be more at ease with their heated pads, so that they can give their full attention to the learning taking place. Additionally, they love the snack variety in the classroom, as most of my students do not eat school lunches. Now my students have all the necessary items to keep on learning!”

Thank you so much for funding the project, "Magnetic Learning." Thanks you to you I now have more magnetic boarders to make my floral theme come alive! My students love to decorate the classroom and now they can take part in this and complete it with ease. Additionally, with my magnets, I am able to hang up more student artwork and assignments so that they feel represented in the space that they are learning in. Moreover, we can now work on hanging more posters around the room so that learning can be more engaging.”

Thank you so much for funding the project, "Flying Off the Shelves." Thanks to you, my students received a variety of books to choose from when it comes to our silent sustained reading lessons. They love reading the books that I have gotten from projects so much that they practically beg to have another "lesson" in which they read. Some students have even claimed ownership of the books that they started reading! I am amazed that students are willing to put down their iPads and enjoy reading again. All of this wouldn't be possible without you!”
