• Incentives, Rewards and Cleaning, Oh My!

  The new rewards have been a hit! The students were thrilled when they first saw the candy and the water bottle stickers. They were buzzing with excitement, eagerly talking about which treats they wanted to earn and how they'd decorate their water bottles with the stickers. These rewards have added an extra boost of motivation, making classroom participation and goal-setting feel even more engaging.

  As for what's next, we're diving deeper into our current lessons, where students are learning more in-depth reading skills. Having these rewards has already helped them stay focused and enthusiastic about their tasks, and they're looking forward to earning more as they progress. It's a great way to keep them actively engaged!”

• Learning to Read Can Be Fun!

  I am thrilled to share the incredible impact your generous donations have had on our students! The new incentives and learning games have transformed our classrooms into a more dynamic and engaging learning environment. We recently used these materials during the last week of the 2023-2024 school year, where students played one of the learning games based on skills that they were taught during the year. The excitement in the room was palpable as students eagerly participated, challenging themselves and each other while applying the concepts they have learned in a fun and interactive way.

  When the materials first arrived, my students were overjoyed. Their faces lit up with excitement as they saw the brightly colored games and the rewards they could earn through hard work and perseverance. It was heartwarming to witness their genuine enthusiasm and eagerness to five into the new resources.

  As we continue to explore these new tools, our next step is to integrate the learning games into our regular rotation. This will allow students to continue practicing essential skills in a more engaging and enjoyable manner. Your contribution has truly made a difference, and I look forward to sharing more stories as we move forward.

• New Year, Fresh Start

  With your help and generous donations, I was able to provide my students with rewards and materials that they need to achieve in reading support. We are using the materials as incentives for completion of work as well as hanging posters around the room. We are also using the material to stay organized during the busy school year.

  My students were, of course, most excited for the candy that they get to have for doing a good job. This reward system has worked beautifully and my students are coming to reading support ready to pay attention and learn to succeed.

  Working with reading support tier 3 students, they already feel and know that they do not have the skills that they need to stay in the classroom. With the incentives that were given and a behavorial cards that I have, my students are excelling in the program that is being used as well as on their Star Reading Tests.

  Without all of the materials, whether it was a piece of candy or new dry erase markers, my students and myself could not be more thankfully for the generous donations that were made.”

• Two is Better than One

  Thank you so much for helping our tier 3 students. With your help, our students could comfortably work on their reading computer program using the pillows and headphones. We were able to label supplies around the room to organize and promote literacy as well. Your donation also allowed us to provide prizes and goodies to our students and they looked forward to them each class! The erasers made for an easy cleanup as well. The games were a big hit! They loved that they could escape from the software to play learning games.

• Just Like Home in the Reading Room

  I first want to say thank you for everything you have done to help provide my students and I the home like feeling they needed. With the help of the storage, the bookshelf, we were able to store all of our workbooks and data on there for easy access within our tiny classroom. The signs that were asked, my students helped decorate our classroom to make it look nice and comfy.

  When all of the packages started to come in, my students were like little kids on Christmas morning. They could not wait to open every package to see what was inside of them. Once opened, they loved to see the materials and we started right away figuring out where to put things and what should hold what. They loved everything about decorating and organizing our space.

  Thank you for making our room feel more like a home space then a little room with four white walls. We are forever grateful to have wonderful donors like you!”
