Make Middle School Math Explode With Color!
Funded Dec 22, 2022This project has made an incredible impact in our mathematics classroom! Thanks to your funding through Donors Choose, we now have access to a color printer, which has truly transformed the way we approach learning.
As you know, our classroom is filled with students who each bring unique strengths, needs, and learning styles. For many of our students, the simple use of color in worksheets and graphic organizers has been a game-changer. Color helps to direct their attention, prioritize key information, and keep them engaged in their work. Whether it's highlighting important math concepts, distinguishing between steps in a process, or simply making a worksheet visually appealing, the benefits of using color in our lessons have been remarkable.
Our students, regardless of their ability levels, are responding more positively to the colorful materials. It allows them to stay focused for longer periods, and it's making a visible difference in their overall engagement and understanding. The graphic organizers are now more accessible, easier to follow, and allow students to see the connections between different math concepts.

Middle School Math for All Learners

You have provided our classes with additional materials that have helped us differentiate the many types of learners in our 7th grade math classes. We've used the TpT cards to purchase units that gave us tasks; guides; and scaffolded instructions. These materials were mostly used for additional instruction for smaller groups that have been targeted based on academic needs. We have helped everyone from struggling learners to students that need more challenging tasks to keep them engaged.
