  • Books That Feed Our Imagination

    Thank you once again for supporting my students. We are currently reading the copies of World War Z that you generously donated to our classroom, and the student are loving it. I find it hard to describe the joy I feel seeing students actively choosing to read and truly enjoying the experience. Beyond helping students have fun particular book, you have helped shape these kids' understanding of why we read. It's communal, it's didactic, it's soul-warming. Thank you a thousand times over for fighting for literacy and love.”

  • Books That Take Us Around the World

    Thank you again for your support of public education. We are finally starting our literature circles, and the students could not be more excited. Currently, each student is about to decide what text they would most like to read, and their excitement is something I wish I could sent directly to you.

    Even the students in my other classes have taken an interest; just a few days ago, one of my elder students excitedly asked to borrow a copy of Barefoot gen because the cover caught his attention. When he realized that the book itself is a manga, he was overjoyed. It is truly a privilege to introduce young readers to stories like these.”
