  • Help Me Provide an Inviting Classroom for Learning!

    Thank you so much for funding my project to help me provide an inviting classroom for my students! My class loves getting to use all the pillows and sitting on the new comfortable options. They absolutely love going to the reading center, which was my goal as a 1st grade teacher. Reading is crucial to their future success in the classroom and if I can get them to love it now, than that will only help them to succeed as they get older!

    My room is so much more inviting with the new decor that was also funded. When children feel comfortable and enjoy their environment, then their brains are going to be more likely to receive the information they are getting. The students think our room looks very nice and love coming to school every day!”

  • All Hands on Deck

    Funded Nov 5, 2022

    Thank you so much for funding my project "All Hands on Deck"! I did not have many hands-on materials for my students to use and now my students have multiple resources to choose from. Whenever my students finish their work early, they are able to grab a box of STEM toys to use to help keep them occupied while others are finishing.

    When my students first saw all the new manipulatives, their little eyes lit up and could not wait to use them. Young children can get very bored and frustrated if all they have to do is pencil and paper work. So the hands-on materials are a welcomed change for them and a wonderful way to engage their imagination. Again, thank you very much for giving my students an added learning experience!”
