  • Model Water Parks

    Funded Aug 15, 2023

    Thank you so much for funding my project titled, 'Model Water Parks!'; however, we won't complete this project until the spring.

    Along with my project I received some supplies to play some fun various Math games. The mini dice inside a dice was a HUGE hit! One student thought it to be so cute that she took a pic of one to send home. We use the die to play a game called "Block It.' It is a Math play on Connect Four, where the students creatively make equations competitively. They get pretty excited when they win. They ask to play the game every week. Thanks again for your support in creating fun learning!”

  • Geometric Amusement Parks!

    Funded Nov 5, 2022

    Thank you very much for donating to my students' project called 'Geometric Amusement Park'. My students will use the materials purchased by your wonderful program to create amusement park attractions.

    The students will use the attractions they created and measure the height, width, and length to calculate volume, pitch, surface area, etc. of different 3D shapes such as cones, prisms, spheres, etc.

    When I opened the boxes of materials, the students were so excited to use the glue guns and the colorful materials. They immediately wanted to know what they were creating.

    I'm excited to see how they use these materials bring their creativity and imaginations to life.”
