Mighty Buffalo Pantry

I would like to take the time to tell you how thankful I am that you helped to fund my project. Every day since I have received the items for The Mighty Buff Pantry it has provided my students with so much. Students have access to personal hygiene products, snacks, and drinks, that they might not on a regular basis. Having a storage cabinet has also help me keep all these items organized.

At first the students didn't know what to think. Each day students would stop in and ask if the drinks were free and very surprised when I said, "Yes." They were very thankful. The snacks have come in handy as many students have needed a little something to get through to lunch, so they stop by and know where they are stored. One of the biggest requests has been for ChapStick, so it has been wonderful to actually have some to give out to my students.

Students will still be able to stop by as needed for snacks, personal hygiene items, and drinks, while these are available. We are a four-counselor team, so all items are available to about 900 students. We are so thankful to have this wonderful opportunity to provide daily necessities, so students will have the chance to think about something other than not having water to shower, grumbling belly due to being hungry, and this has allowed us to do more check-in with students when they stop by for something.”
