Learning My Way

Thank you for the funding the project I submitted, "Learning My Way". The materials purchased, allows my students to learn with a variety of hands-on activities. This is especially important with my special education students. Students with Autism often require a variety of sensory items to aid in their education.

Students enjoy the light boards while also learning letters, numbers and spelling different sight words. Students can also practice spelling their name which is an excellent alternative to the traditional pencil paper tasks. The magnetic shapes allow students to touch and feel the shapes while identifying them.
