  • Hydration Station for Students

    Funded Apr 8, 2025

Thanks to your generous support, our classroom now has a safe and consistent way for students to stay hydrated throughout the school day. Each student received their own supply of disposable water bottles, which has made a noticeable difference in their focus, energy, and overall comfort. One student even said, "I love that I don't have to wait to get water I can just grab my bottle and get back to work!" It may seem like a small thing, but having access to water without disruption has helped students stay engaged during lessons, especially during longer activities like writing workshops and science experiments.

The day the water bottles arrived, you would've thought it was a holiday! Students were so excited to have something just for them. We used the opportunity to talk about the importance of hydration and how it helps our brains and bodies. Now, grabbing a water bottle has become a part of our daily routine. As we continue our units on health and wellness, this project has given us a practical, real-life example of how meeting basic needs supports learning. Thank you for helping us build healthy habits and strong learners your support truly made a difference!”

  • Phones Off, Minds On!

    Funded Mar 4, 2025

Thanks to your generosity, our classroom has become a more focused and engaging learning space! The cell phone holder and "No Cell Phone" poster have made a tremendous difference in reducing distractions and encouraging students to be fully present in their lessons. When the students first saw the cell phone holder, there was a mix of curiosity and excitement. Many quickly embraced the idea, realizing how much easier it was to stay on task without the constant temptation of their phones. The poster serves as a daily reminder of our commitment to a distraction-free environment, reinforcing positive habits that help students take ownership of their learning.

With fewer interruptions, students are more engaged and eager to participate in discussions and activities. During a recent debate, I noticed a remarkable shift—students were fully immersed in the conversation, listening intently and responding thoughtfully. This level of engagement has allowed for deeper learning experiences and stronger peer connections. As we move forward, we'll continue to build on these improvements, incorporating more collaborative projects that encourage critical thinking and communication. Your support has helped create a classroom environment where students can truly thrive, and for that, we are incredibly grateful!”

  • Art for Calmness!

    Funded Nov 17, 2024

Thank you for your generous donation of art supplies. Your support has made a big difference in our classroom. With the new materials—paint, canvas boards, sketch pads, sketch pencils, and jumbo mandala coloring posters—our students have been able to express themselves and manage their emotions better. For example, during a recent session, students used the mandala coloring posters to create detailed designs. This activity helped them relax and express their feelings without words. It also allowed them to be creative and find peace.

When the students first saw the new art supplies, they were excited and thankful. They eagerly tried out the different materials, exploring colors and techniques. This enthusiasm has made our classroom more lively and expressive. Students now feel more comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings through their artwork. In the future, we plan to use these art supplies in our lessons to help students learn about their emotions and how to handle them. These art sessions will help them understand themselves better and build personal responsibility. Your support has created a safe and caring space where students can use art to heal, and we are very grateful for your help in their growth and well-being.”

  • Ignite Curiosity With STEM

    Funded Oct 24, 2024

I am overjoyed and deeply appreciative of your support in making this project a reality. The moment our supplies arrived, the smiles on our students' faces were absolutely priceless. Most of my students don't have access to a 3D printer at home, and witnessing them engage with this technology has been transformative. The 3D printer has opened up new avenues for learning, allowing students to design and create their own models, which enhances their understanding of engineering and design concepts. With the microscope, they are now exploring the microscopic world, fostering curiosity about biology and science in ways that traditional textbooks simply cannot achieve. These hands-on experiences are making learning more interactive and enjoyable, encouraging my students to take ownership of their education.

The excitement surrounding these new technologies is palpable, especially among those who thrive in a hands-on learning environment. For example, one student who previously struggled with engagement has taken a keen interest in the 3D printer, eagerly leading a project to create a miniature robot. This newfound enthusiasm has not only boosted their confidence but also inspired their peers to join in. Another student has developed a passion for biology after using the microscope, often sharing their findings with the class and sparking discussions about life sciences. This project has truly enriched our learning environment, empowering students to explore, experiment, and discover their unique interests. Your generosity is making a significant difference in their educational journey, and for that, I thank you wholeheartedly!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. D
