In today's fast-paced digital era, the traditional printing press may seem outdated and surpassed by modern technology. However, within the realm of education, the printing press continues to serve as a transformative tool, allowing students to unleash their creative potential and give voice to their ideas. Below is how utilizing a printing press in my classroom empowered my students to create printmaking artwork that captured their individual perspectives and also amplifies their voices; Engaging in the Artistic Process,Providing a Platform for Self-Expression,Enhancing Communication/Collaboration,Promoting Empathy/Social Awareness,Building Confidence/Identity.”
