Funded Aug 19, 2023I can't tell you how fun it has been to have a kids in here playing music with a disco ball in the center of the room! It has brought them so much joy to be able to, and leash their inner rockstar! Thank you so much for giving them an opportunity to explore places, they may not have the opportunity to explore anywhere else!
This has been a difficult year for some of the students and having the opportunities to express different ways is invaluable. Donors choose has been an amazing gift to my school and my schools on Maui. Thank you for affording us all these opportunities.”

Gratitude Mood
Funded Apr 11, 2023Thank you for donating to our project. In light of the recent events, it has been ever so important to remember to be in a place of gratitude. There were so many homes lost, and so many lives lost that students will be grieving for a long time. Showing them how to still be thankful for things is important in building resiliency. Having them paint rocks and use pots to plant little ceilings will be helpful on their journey. School is a place where students begin to learn to express themselves, with the help of my classroom they can have access to so many new tools they may not have imagined. Once again, your generosity is greatly appreciated.!”

Forage for Self Awareness
Funded Mar 6, 2023My students have been enjoying the many ways in which they can now explore healing! They have been Nora Ticino the singing bowls, determined to master each level, and finding ways to use the vibrational forks. They have many questions and we have been exploring all the possibilities, scientific and ethereal! Food always comes hand in hand with good conversation so they have been delighting in conversing over snacks. The large bean bag chair has been comforting and entertaining as they jump into it and try to bury themselves! They are so pleased and this is the best thank you I could imagine!”

Gaining Confidence and Socialization Skills Post-Pandemic
Funded Oct 31, 2022Thank you again for your generosity. The student's benefit from having a space that is comfortable, creative, and has food! They want me to tell you how your generosity has improved their experience at school, making it a place that supplies educational opportunities, as well as emotional ones.
Sometimes it's difficult to express yourself in words so having other avenues makes a difference. The lights, the paints, markers and the clay all come in to play when dealing with difficult feelings. Having the printer to print out designs that they want to color gives them the freedom of choice. The physical activity of jumping on the trampoline releases stress also.
So from the bottom of my heart, and theirs, I would like to thank you for your kindness and generosity.”
With gratitude,
Ms. DeDe
