• Sensory Fun

  It is with extreme enthusiasm that I want to share with you how your generous contribution helped to spark the learning of our students. We work in a primarily low income Title 1 elementary school. Our caseload is comprised of students with special needs ranging from autism, to stuttering and a multitude of language disorders that negatively impact their academic functioning in and out of the classroom setting.

  Your donation helped to supply our students with hands on sensory materials that keeps their attention and allows them to make learning fun while gaining the necessary skills needed for communication. We used the kinetic sand and playdough to bring some light and fun to our speech therapy sessions and help to engage our children to maintain focus and attention even when skills were difficult for them.”

• Color Printer

  Funded May 23, 2023

  Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for your generous donation! The accessibility to a color printer is essential for the creation of colorful hands on materials for our speech students. Having the ability to create and print materials personalized to our students in color opens up a a new and interesting world for our students who rely on realistic color images to expand their language or in some of our most neediest students cases, give them the ability to use pictures to express their basic wants and needs.

  Once again we just wanted to say a gigantic thank you for bringing smiles to some of our neediest children and giving them something to look forward to while learning new skills.

• Phonics is FUNdamental: Phonics Games

Our students were so excited to engage and play with all the new games and activities that made learning their phonic skills fun and enjoyable. The smiles on their faces brought a sense of happiness to us as their speech therapists.

  We cannot express how truly thankful we are for your generous donation to the continued growth and support of our speech therapy students. Our caseload is comprised of students with special needs ranging from autism, to stuttering and a multitude of language disorders that negatively impact their academic functioning in and out of the classroom setting.

  Your donation helped to supply our students with new and fun materials to help make learning the foundations of reading and writing fun.

  These are just a few of the examples of how we implemented the resources you so graciously supplied to use. Every single child from our littlest three year olds to our oldest fifth graders were excited and overjoyed to read the new stories added to our speech therapy room library.

Our caseload is comprised of students with special needs ranging from autism, to stuttering and a multitude of language disorders that negatively impact their academic functioning in and out of the classroom setting.

  Your donation helped to supply our students with: hands on materials that allow our students to use picture communication boards, adaptive books, and picture schedules to help alleviate their deficits with everyday communication.

  These are just a few of the examples of how we implemented the resources you so graciously supplied to use. Every single child from our littlest three year olds to our oldest fifth graders were excited and overjoyed to engage in the new materials.
