  • Build Better to Learn Better

    Funded Nov 2, 2022

    When my student first saw the wonderful building resources you provided for our classroom, they were very excited. The students have been working collaboratively to build structures with the blocks, Tubes and Joints, MagnaTiles, and Fort Builder. As they work together they are learning important life skills of cooperation, compromise, and collaboration.

    On one occasion a group of students was building with the Fort Builder. I enjoyed hearing them sharing ideas about what to build and how to solve problems when supplies were running low. They created a neat tunnel that the entire class enjoyed.

    As we continue to use the STEM building resources provided from this grant, students will work to solve challenges with each of the building supplies.”
