  • Support Multi Language Learners Learning to Read

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

On behalf of the students and staff, I want to extend our deepest gratitude for your generous contribution to our program. Your thoughtful donation of items, including headphones and other essential tools, is making a significant difference in the lives of our inner-city, multi-language learners.

In our classrooms, we strive to create an environment where all students—regardless of their background or language skills—feel empowered to succeed. For many of our learners, reading is not just an academic skill; it's a bridge to a brighter future. Your support is helping us build that bridge.

The headphones you provided are already proving invaluable. For many of our students, listening to stories, lessons, and interactive reading materials is an essential part of their learning process. These tools not only enhance their ability to focus but also allow them to engage with language and literacy in a way that is accessible and motivating. In addition, these headphones help eliminate distractions, giving each student the chance to hear and comprehend the material clearly, regardless of their language proficiency or background.

Your generosity is not only helping students improve their reading skills; it is also boosting their confidence. For children who may face additional challenges due to language barriers or limited resources, the opportunity to learn with the right tools makes a world of difference. Every time a student listens to a lesson, follows along with a story, or practices reading aloud, they are gaining more than just academic skills—they are gaining confidence in their own abilities and a sense of accomplishment.

What you've given goes beyond supplies. It's a reminder that there are people who believe in their potential, and who are committed to helping them succeed. Your kindness and generosity help break down the barriers that many of our students face, and create an environment where learning can thrive. Thanks to you, they have the tools they need to engage with their lessons more effectively, paving the way for their academic growth and success.

We are incredibly grateful for your support. Your gift is an investment in the future of these students, and we will make sure it is put to good use, continuing to create opportunities for growth, learning, and achievement.

Thank you once again for your kindness and for being an essential part of our mission to help every child succeed.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cudmore

  • Help Students Discover a Love of Reading

    Funded Aug 5, 2024

As another school year approaches, I am so thankful for your thoughtful gift and these resources.

These will be used by 80 students and I know they will inspire students to explore more in the wonderful world of literature.

Thank you once again for your generosity and kindness in supporting this project.”

  • Help My Students Expand Social Emotional Skills

    Funded Apr 17, 2024

On behalf of the entire third grade community, I would like to extend our deepest gratitude for your generous donation that allowed us to purchase a social-emotional curriculum for our classroom.

Your contribution has had a positive impact on our students. The social-emotional curriculum has provided them with invaluable tools to understand and manage their emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.

Since implementing the curriculum, we have observed a noticeable improvement in our students' ability to handle stress and conflict. They are more engaged in classroom activities, display increased empathy towards their peers, and demonstrate a stronger sense of community and cooperation.

Your support has made a lasting difference in the lives of our students. These materials will also be available next year so even future third graders will have a positive impact.

We are immensely grateful for your generosity and commitment to their well-being and development. Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us create a nurturing and supportive learning environment.

Once again, thank you for your kindness and support. We look forward to the continued success and growth of our students, made possible by your generous contribution.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cudmore

  • Help My Students Create Beautiful Art!

    Funded Jan 17, 2024

Thank you so much for all of your support of my students for this project. This donation has helped my students expand their self expression and share their thoughts and ideas with their classmates. Some students are not currently able to speak English and some are unable to write their thoughts so art is a way for them to communicate with the world.

Students loved the new markers and the colored pencils and crayons that allowed them to draw themselves with their correct skin tone. This project has also helped students to create accurate drawings for social studies and science classes.

Again, thank you for your support.”

    With gratitude,

Thanks to your support, these exciting literacy games and activities will be available to students for years to come.”
