• Outdoor Bench for PK

  Thank you so much for your generous donation! We have setup the outdoor storage bench outside. My pre-k students have enjoyed sitting on it so much during recess! They are learning to store the items in the bench when it is time to clean up. They area also using it to sit down when they need a break. We have been storing our basketballs, ring toss game and the additional items that we use in our playground area. My students are learning to be responsible and contributing to keeping everything stored when not in use. This sitting addition to our playground area has been very helpful!”

• Birdies in Pre-K

  Thank you so much for your generous donation! We have setup the bird feeders and bird bath and placed them outside. My pre-k students have been enjoying watching the birds so much during recess! They are also learning to give the birds the space that they need to be able to observe them in nature. I think their favorite part is watching the birds take baths. They have also been trying to take pictures of them. It has been a great learning experience for them and for me. This addition to our playground area has been so fun.”

• Picture this in Pre-K!

  Thank you so much for your generous donation! We have started using the cameras outside. My pre-k students have been enjoying them so much during recess! The cameras are serving as a powerful tool for documenting and capturing precious moments of discovery. It has been a great learning experience for them and for me. Even the adults are enjoying them! My pre-kinder students have been using them to take pictures of nature and their surroundings. We will be using these pictures in our classroom and in their writing journals.”

• Outdoor Games for Pre-K!

  Thank you so much for your generous donation! We have setup the outdoor games and placed them outside. My pre-k students have been enjoying them so much during recess! They are working on social skills, fine and gross motor skills, taking turns and working together. They have been learning how to play connect four. They have also learned how to release the rings from the structure. It has been a great learning experience for them and for me. This addition to our playground area has been so fun. Even the adults are enjoying them!”

• Riding on my Tricycle in Pre-K!

  Funded Apr 22, 2024

  We have been using the tricycles during recess. My students have been enjoying them so much! Some of my students lack the opportunity to have a tricycle at home and are lacking the developmental benefits that come from learning to ride a tricycle. Now, they get to ride a tricycle at school and are learning how to pedal. They are sharpening their hand eye coordination. These tricycles are helping them develop their leg strength and stamina. We will continue to use the tricycles during recess and any chance we get to go outside. Thanks again for your generous donation.”

• Whiteboard on Wheels

  My students and I cannot thank you enough for your generous donation. The whiteboard on wheels has been extremely helpful. We have been using it in our classroom daily. It allows for easy mobility within the classroom. My preschool students really enjoy using it during center time. They have used it to build words with magnetic letters. They have enhanced their learning experience through collaborative learning, visual demonstrations, and personalized attention within a small group setting.

• Teachers Pay Teachers Classroom Basics

  Funded Dec 14, 2023

  Thank you so much for the donation of a teachers pay teachers gift card. I am able to use it for special days and art projects to do with my students. We were able to use it specifically for the solar eclipse. We had so much fun on that day and having the extra activities made it a memorable day.

  We have also used it for our unit themes. We recently had a transportation theme and I was able to purchase different things for our seven centers specifically for our dramatic center. We brought the theme to life with the awesome printables I found on teachers pay teachers.”

• Classroom Basics for Pre-K4

  It is exciting to be able to brighten up each kids face in the classroom. I have started using the color printer for treat bags, welcome newsletters, and task cards for the kiddos to use. When there is an assignment printed with color, I feel that enthusiasm kids get with a toy, it sure makes learning a lot more fun. Having a color printer in the classroom enhances our learning and gives students an ample opportunity to get creative as well. Thank you for the gift of having a color printer in my classroom.”

• Read to Learn Book Project

  It is with great gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter to you for your kindness and willingness to give, toward "Read to Learn Book Project". With the books, the students will enjoy independent reading time. Although they are still learning, it is great exposure for them. They are being used in our classroom library during center time.

  Again, thank you for your donation. Our children's faces lit up when the supplies arrived! They beg me everyday to switch out their books. This is also gaining their love for reading.”

  Thank you so much for your donation to my project. I am so excited that I was able to use the gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers to supplement what I do in my classroom on a daily basis.

  I used it to buy additional resources for practicing sight words. It has been wonderful to go on the Teachers Pay Teachers website and search for exactly what I need to help my students learn how to read. I also purchased some decodable readers. My students have been enjoying the different decodable readers. These readers follow our phonics scope and sequence and have been used to enrich my students as they gain new decoding skills.
