• After School Fitness Part 3

  My students have been so happy with the excercise equipment! We never had a workout room at all, specially one with all the equipment necessary to keep everyone engaged. When I first discussed tne project with my students, we thought of just a punching bag and exercise machine. Once we received it we were all in awe, we had no idea that supporters like you could make this a reality.

  Once the punching bag and bike came in, my students wanted to take it to the next level. They came up with suggestions on expanding the workout room to include two weight lifting machines, 2 treadmills, another bike, and special flooring. They even got two other teachers involved and asked them to suport us by writing other grants.

  We broke the project into multiple parts and now have a full functioning workout room. Thank you so much for making this a really.”

• Restorative Surroundings

  Funded Jan 29, 2023

  Thanks to your donation we were able to make the environment so much alive! The space looked dull and industrial, a place that was depressing. Our plan to give it a face-lift was right on track. Our students were able to work as a team to put it together. This activity allowed them to brainstorm together and to put the pieces together patiently.

  This wall murals made the space more inviting and tricked the eye to make it seem more roomy. My students love the space and can't wait to continue to make the room even better. This is a work in progress.

• Sports Teamwork in Action!

  Words can not express how grateful my colleagues and I are for making this a reality. Children need an outlet to let out their frustration and to participate in healthy activities. Your contribution has enabled our students to take pride in our sports team and to practice healthy physical habits.

  Our courtyard has been closed all year due to renovations and the indoor activities is all they have. As we continue to expand our physical activities and equip our exercise room we are cognizant of the role you played. Thank you so much!”
