STEM Scientists In Need of Kits

Thank you for your donation to our classroom this year. We were able to explore various STEM concepts thanks to your kindness. The students worked on the Robot Crawlers as a whole class and on the individual STEM kits as a solo project. The Robot Crawler project was a great experience for every student in the class because they were able to design and modify the robots the way they liked. The robot race at the end was also a huge highlight. When the kits were delivered the students jumped for joy, literally. They expressed their excitement and stated that having an opportunity to work with their hands making robots was a dream come true. I was also excited because it meant that we didn't have to do paper based projects and could truly explore STEM concepts. We have reached the end of the year but this donation helped the students enjoy robotics and engineering throughout the entire year. We began with the robot crawlers as a class project and ended the year with each student picking and building their own wind powered car, ball pitching machine, or graffiti robot. The joy and the experiences that were had by all is something we won't soon forget. A few students even found a new field of study to interest them!”
