I want to thank you for supporting my efforts to set up a mathematical thinking classroom. My students are enjoying the space, manipulatives, and games as they conceptualize mathematical problem solving, engage in (so much) counting, and learning to structure numbers in ways that make sense to them!

Everyone that walks into our room comments on how welcoming and engaging it feels. A few teachers even commented that they now understand why their students always want to come to math lab.

I love the opportunity I have been given to share the joy of truly understanding mathematical concepts, not just memorizing facts and procedures. My students are thriving and I want to thank each of you for giving generously to my project. Each morning when I walk into Room 16, I feel warmth, hope, and purpose. Thank you for supporting me and my little mathematicians.”
