  • Show That Detail in Macro Photography

    Thanks so much for your generous gift to my students. My students are exploring taking photographs with the use of a glass orb. This is a great way to teach students a new point of view. Students get to see a new way of presenting a landscape or a part of nature as their subject in their image. As you can see in the images taken there has been a good deal of experimenting with the different sizes of the orbs and glass holders to enhance an image. Thanks so much for all you do. I know my students wouldn't get to experience these new adventures without your gifts and support.”

  • Nature Cyanotypes

    Funded Oct 21, 2022

    Students are enjoying the new cyanotype paper and fabric. The fabric added an element to the process. Now students were thinking about how they could incorporate the fabric into other art pieces. It was great to see how excited they were about fabric instead of paper.

    Students are adding the images of their cyanotypes into their art portfolios for college admissions and scholarship applications. This is one more addition to a portfolio that would not have been available without your generosity.”
