Providing my middle school students with the gift of new headphones has been a valuable tool to facilitate their learning of a foreign language. When students are are able to use headphones, it allows them to fully immerse themselves in the audio components of the foreign language, such as pronunciation, intonation, and conversational flow, without distractions from surrounding noise or classmates.

The use of headphones have been particularly beneficial for improving my students' listening comprehension, which is a crucial aspect of language acquisition. The have enjoyed listening to audiobooks, as well as podcasts to a much greater degree!

Although my eighth grade students enjoy the use of headphones, my seventh grade classes were the most excited in receiving them the most! Many of my students had trouble acquiring headphones on their own, so this gift was appreciated even more than you can ever know!”
