Refreshing! New Beverage Cooler for our Diversified Student Based Enterprise
Funded Mar 25, 2025Our Diversified Student Based Enterprise gave high school students hands-on experience in all aspects of running a small business. Students are responsible for product development, marketing, operations, accounting, and more. Having a reliable, high-quality beverage cooler has been essential to support our efforts.
The New Beverage Cooler allowed us to properly store and display a variety of refreshing drinks for our customers. This has helped us offer a more professional and appealing product selection, leading to increased sales. The additional revenue generated will be reinvested into the business, enabling us to expand our product line, enhance our marketing, and ultimately create a more robust and sustainable enterprise.
The students has enjoyed the addition to our business.
It has helped them gain hands-on experience in inventory management, point-of-sale operations, and customer service.

Funded Sep 10, 2024I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of my DonorsChoose project, which aimed to provide a Bluetooth speaker and microphones for my students to use. Your contribution has made a significant impact on our classroom and the learning experiences of my students.
With the new equipment, my students now have the opportunity to practice their presentation skills in a more engaging and effective manner. We hope this practice will help them in their DECA competition and advance to Nationals.
The Bluetooth speakers has been able to enhance the quality of their voice while presenting and focus on their content delivery without the distraction. Additionally, the microphones enable every student to speak clearly, ensuring that their voices are heard and understood by their peers and potential judges.
I have already seen a noticeable improvement in their confidence and enthusiasm during presentations. They are more willing to participate and share their ideas, knowing they have the right tools to support their efforts. This has been a great addition to our practice public speaking.”

Mind Matters Project- Marketing Mental Health Awareness

This initiative, designed for my marketing principles students, help raise awareness about mental health issues among their peers. With your contributions of printers, laptops, and bulletin boards, students were able to distribute flyers, post flyers and create a bulletin board the students could see for more information.
This project highlighted the importance of mental health, the available resources, and guidance on how to seek help. Additionally, they were able to educate their peers about mental health challenges and effective coping strategies, fostering a supportive community atmosphere.”
