  • Community Service Classroom Station

    Funded Sep 28, 2023

    My students are in awe of the classroom community corner. The beautiful seating area and the rug has made it really homey. This area created a space for students to have deep conversations on issues that affect our community. My students also use this area to cool down or ground themselves when they are having a bad day.

    This environment has made my students feel safe and loved. Students have a sign in sheet so that everyone gets the same privileges of seating in this VIP section. My students stated that they look forward to coming in my classroom.”

  • Indoor Sports Part 2

    We are extremely grateful for your generosity and kindness. Your donation towards the purchase of the indoor sports has made the school day a lot more fun and socially engaging. Since our yard has been closed, our students needed a way to play indoors in a small tight space. My students LOVE to play and let out some steam from the stressors of the academic life.

    Physical activities and sports have a huge impact in the mental and physical health of our scholars. Students who have activities to do during free time tend to socialize more appropriately and do not engage in aggressive behaviors leading to detention. Our behavioral incidents have significantly decreased since we started our game room.

  • Digital Photography and Science Behind

    Funded Nov 16, 2022

    Thank you so much for funding our photography and recording equipment. My students were in awe when they saw all the resources funded in this project. You should have seen their faces! They are used to the smart phones and Ipads and were so curious when they saw the video recorder and camera. They all took turns taking pictures and exploring it's use. The camera lighting and equipment was a novelty. I had to bring everything to the cafeteria where they created a photo booth for Valentine's day. They took turns playing the photographer and manipulating the umbrella's.

  • Colorful Printing

    Funded Oct 21, 2022

    Thank you so much for all your help with the color printer. It has made our lives much more easier and cut cost. The students are able to print in color and we are able to complete projects without having to go to staples. While it may be a simple item and commonly used in many agencies, here is a hot commodity. I can do the graphs for attendance and show my students how they are all doing by displaying it in color. I am also able to print flyers of activities and promote our PBIS incentives poster.”
