    Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom! This year, I have a full class and my students LOVE art. The construction paper you have donated will come in great use - the students are already using it to create their first masterpiece - a multi-sensory name plate! Students are using the construction paper to create little balls, shreds, rolls, or ribbons to fill in an outline of their names - and they are having a wonderful time doing it! We will use construction paper for so many more art, math, literacy, and science projects throughout the year. We are so thankful for you!”

  • My Class Gets STEAMy

    Thank you so much for these amazing STEAM supplies! I am so excited to be starting the new school year equipped with these science and art projects for my class! Knowing that these supplies will arrive for September allows me to plan my units of study and corresponding learning centers with time to spare, which will give me a leg up this year!   • Block Play

    Funded May 11, 2023

    In an early elementary classroom, playing with blocks offers a myriad of learning opportunities. Block play requires fine and gross motor skills. It enhances children's problem-solving abilities, imagination, mathematics skills. It even builds language and literacy abilities. Constructing "creations" also builds self-esteem and feelings of success.

    My students have been thoroughly enjoying the blocks you have provided, and have learned so much from using them! Thanks to your blocks, they children have been developing the ability to take turns and share materials - with reminders and encouragement. They are learning to play with peers they had not interacted with much before and are developing new friendships as they work cooperatively on increasingly complex structures. It is benefitting their attention span as well as their capacity to work without adult direction.
