End Period Poverty at 210!
Funded Nov 29, 2023Thank you so much for this generous donation. My middle school students are loving the products. The girls love it so much that they approach me in the hallway, mid day, telling me that the supplies are already empty or close to being empty. This is great because menstruation products are now more accessible for students inside the bathroom, as opposed to having to go to the teacher and/or nurse, to ask for a sanitary pad. Just like there are devices on the walls of bathrooms that provide tampons and pads for free or 25 cents, there should exist menstruation stations for students.
My students were ecstatic when they first saw the materials. Having a variety of products such as unscented wipes, panty liners, regular size pads and overnight size pads is something they have never had access to in this school. I am grateful for your donation as I am sure they are too.”

Funded Apr 24, 2023I would like to thank you for your generous donation. You have provided not only a comfortable space for our students, but a welcoming one, as well. As you may observe with my classroom photo, you can see that the office was very sterile and cold with desk chairs for the students. This did not allow for an inviting environment at all.
When my students first saw the bean bags they jumped for joy and immediately threw themselves to feel them. The staff were also excited when they saw the bean bags and also "tested them out"! The waterfall was also a hit because my students are always intrigued with how relaxing and calming it is. Lastly, the white noise machine is great for providing privacy in a three room suite with very thin walls. This has completely changed the way my counseling sessions are facilitated and it could not have been without your help.”
