The snacks have been a game-changer during our long school days, ensuring that our students have the energy they need to stay focused and engaged. With school days running from 9:00 AM to 3:45 PM, the midday snacks provide much-needed nourishment, helping students stay on track and ready to learn.
In addition, the board games have brought a new dimension of creativity, teamwork, and fun to our classroom. They offer our students the chance to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and social skills in an interactive and enjoyable way. It's been amazing to see them working together, strategizing, and celebrating each other's successes.

Funded Jan 17, 2024The materials from this project went towards the creation of a colorful hallway bulletin board that invited students and adults passing through the hallways to pick a prompt from the board to engage a random act of kindness. Examples of random acts of kindness that were featured on the bulletin board included writing a thoughtful/kind note to a classmate, cleaning up litter around school, or giving somebody an unexpected compliment. Students who engaged in the project were asked to write reflections about their experiences as well as provide suggestions for how we could incorporate the positivity of Random Acts of Kindness in other areas of our school community.”

Funded May 6, 2024We took this camera on our field trip to Dave and Busters today and the students had SO MUCH fun with it! Every student, even the usually camera-shy ones, wanted to have their photo taken with their best friends. A few students were fascinated and asked questions about the technology and chemistry (or "magic") that goes into making the instant film create photos so quickly. This camera turned out to be a main character on the trip and the students loved it so much they've requested for it to brought on all future trips!”

Funded May 6, 2024Thank you for helping to bring this iPad to our classroom. While every student at our school is equipped with a 1:1 device, its not uncommon that a device stops working or crashes mid-class as many of our students' devices are nearly 3-4 years of use. Having this tablet has already allowed many students to have a loaner device readily available in the classroom when theirs breaks down or needs to charge. This ipad has also been incredibly useful in allowing students to take photos of their paperwork classwork to upload to their digital portfolios. I am excited to continue to explore how the ipad can help me and my students engage in future rigorous activities. The learning opportunities and possibilities are truly endless.”

Funded Mar 2, 2024My students LOVED these new games that you helped to bring into our classroom. Crowd favorites were Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza, which had students cackling with roaring laughter, and Dutch Blitz, which inspired lots of friendly competition within the class. These new games offered students a ~fun~ way to develop skills such as critical thinking, creativity, problem solving, and communication, which was a win for both the students and us teachers! We are so grateful to have the support of donors like you, who are always looking for ways to help make our classrooms great!”

Listening to Learn
Funded Jan 10, 2024Thank you so much for helping bring these headphones to our classrooms. As our students use their laptops in most of their classes, having headphones is an essential part of their learning when their work is independent. Throughout the first few months of schools, many students headphones were breaking down or malfunctioning, which made it difficult for some to focus and others to finish their classwork. It was so exciting to let students know that they would be able to replace broken or lost headphones. They were so excited to use these new headphones during class today. We are so grateful to have the support of donors like you, who are always looking for ways to help make our classrooms great!”
