  • Sensory Regulation In The OT Room

    Funded Dec 30, 2023

Thank you so much for contributing to the success of my students. Sensory awareness and regulation is so very important for my students to be able to access the curriculum. Your donation has allowed my students to explore what works for them to help them self regulate. They are learning the words to describe what they are feeling and what they need. These materials and durable and will last my students a long time. My students have especially liked the slime solution. They have asked for this activity every day.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Laura

  • Using a Multi-Sensory approach for Hand Strengthening and Calming

    Funded Jun 24, 2023

My students and myself are so very grateful for your most generous gifts of slime making materials. When I opened the package with my students, they were so happy and excited to play with the materials.

My students have disabilities in which they have weak hands and poor ability to be calm, cool, and collected. They benefit and enjoy sensory play while creating, measuring and mixing the materials. My students love playing with the foam and making slime. They love feeling the different textures while promoting hand strengthening and calming during slime / foam activities.

Thank you again for supporting my ability to give my students the availability to have fun while improving their hand and mind skills.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Laura
