Funded May 22, 2024Thank you so much for donating books to my classroom. I have always believed that Reading is fundamental and students should have a choice in the things that they read. Anytime my kiddos get new books , you can see their eyes light up in excitement. Independent reading has increased across my classes simply because they like the books that they have been given. I want you guys to know that your donation has helped my classroom in the best way. I thank you for even considering giving to my class because you did not have to . It's Time to Read!
Funded Oct 6, 2023Thank you so much for giving my students the gift of reading . Every child is different so they are going to have different reading needs . The books that were given to us instantly put a smile on our faces and they were so excited to dive in. The fact that you found it in your heart to give to my classroom has helped immensely.
I have seen students get excited about reading intervention because they have choices . I believe that all students should have a choice in their learning especially for what they read during intervention . Words can not express how happy I am.”

Funded Oct 27, 2022Students have throughly enjoyed reading the books that have been purchased for class. Comprehension in general is something that I have wanted students to zone in on and with the new texts that are in the classroom , we have been able to sharpen their skills. I have book conferences with students and ask them questions about what they are reading. The books that I chose have sparked their interest which has allowed them to really get into the books. We have 30 minute reading intervention everyday which allows students to literally drop everything and read. When I announced that there would be new books coming because they have had a really small selction so far. You can literally hear a pin drop when you walk in during Reading Intervention time. That truly makes my heart smile. Your donation has impacted my kids' world and it has made Reading something they WANT to do. I greatly apppreciate you and thank you for all you have done.”
