  • Mrs. Tin and Ms. Olson's Adaptive Skills Lab

    Funded Jan 10, 2023

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to you for generously supporting our adaptive skills lab. Your contributions have made a significant impact on our ability to provide a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for individuals of all abilities.

One particular initiative that your support has made possible is the establishment of a butterfly lab within our adaptive skills lab. Thanks to your generosity, our students have the opportunity to witness the captivating transformation of caterpillars into beautiful butterflies. They actively participate in the process, observing the different stages of metamorphosis and learning about the intricate biology and behaviors of these remarkable creatures.

The butterfly lab not only enhances their scientific knowledge but also promotes sensory exploration, fine motor skills development, and a sense of wonder and curiosity. Our students can interact with the butterflies, observe their vibrant colors, delicate wings, and graceful flight patterns. This immersive experience helps foster a deeper appreciation for nature and its incredible diversity.

None of this would have been possible without your invaluable support. Your contributions have empowered us to create an engaging and inclusive environment where individuals with diverse abilities can thrive and discover their full potential.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Tin

  • Ms. Tin and Ms. Olson's Adaptive Skills Project

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

I wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for your generous sponsorship of our Adaptive Skills Project. Your support has played a crucial role in empowering our students and helping them develop essential life skills while having an incredible amount of fun in the process.

Thanks to your generosity, our students have been able to engage in a variety of activities that have not only enhanced their adaptive skills but also enriched their lives. From learning basic cooking techniques to exploring new artistic expressions, your contribution has opened doors to endless possibilities for our students. They have been actively participating in workshops, hands-on sessions, and interactive learning experiences, all designed to equip them with the skills necessary to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

Your sponsorship has made it possible for our students to develop valuable abilities that are fundamental to their overall growth. They have been working diligently to improve their communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, all of which are essential in navigating the challenges of daily life. The joy and enthusiasm that radiate from their faces while engaging in these activities are a testament to the impact of your support. They are not only working hard but also genuinely enjoying the process of acquiring these adaptive skills.

Once again, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support. Your generosity has made a profound difference in the lives of our students, and we are incredibly grateful for the positive impact you have helped create. We look forward to sharing with you the progress and achievements of our students as they continue to grow and develop their adaptive skills.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Tin

  • Help Us Become Independent Adults

    Funded Oct 14, 2022

We are so excited to share these photos with you. We have spent the last few months learning about kitchen safety and cleanliness. We have worked on how to use a knife safely when we are chopping, washing, and carrying them. We have learned skills how to turn the stove and oven on and off. We have learned about food safety about what we can and can't eat if it's raw. We have done a couple of small cooking projects to practice these skills but they all culminated today when we used items you and our community donated to make baked ziti! Each one of our student made an individual pan that they get to take home to their families and we made one big communal one for everyone to try. They loved it to say the least!!! We can't thank you all enough for your generous donations.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Tin
