  • Let's Get a Band Wagon!

    Thank you for your generous donation to the Sumner Middle School band program! You've already made life better for our band students (and for me) by helping us get gear from place to place. Each of these new wagons can carry two tubas & some extra supplies. We're able to use these to help students get set up for concerts, pep assemblies, performances in the SMS commons, and when we take the band out in public for parades & elementary recruitment tour.

  • Tuners for Middle School Band

    Thank you for your generous donation to our band program! We use our tuners in every class every day to tune every woodwind & brass instrument, as well as our guitars. The students were very excited to use the tuners, especially the 6th grade beginning band students. Sometimes we have tuning challenges in class where students need to hold a note steady for a certain amount of time and they love it! They get pretty competitive about who can be in tune for the longest amount of time. These tuners have already helped our students to play with a steady, centered, in tune sound, and they'll continue to help us for years to come. Thank you!”
