Fighting Hunger in Our Classroom
Funded Dec 30, 2023Your support has changed the mood in the classroom. I have a particular student who always refuses to work. We noticed that any time he is offered a snack he becomes compliant and productive. This prompted us to prepare his snack ahead of time and give him a backpack with some essentials for the weekend.
Your generosity and support has also moved other teachers to also create a classroom pantry. It may be a small item, but for our students is motivating. I also got to know what my kids like to eat and the need to provide further support.
Thank you so much!”

Productivity in Motion
Funded Oct 8, 2023My students LOVE my classroom! They are motivated to come into class and expressed that they feel at home. The sitting area is so popular that I had to create a schedule so that everyone gets a chance to sit and move around.
Most importantly, the behavior issues have decreased significantly. Students call using the desks "VIP benefits". I have one student in particular who suffers from ADHD and has a hard time completing the classwork. With our new alternate seating area he is able to move around and is motivated to complete the work.
Your support has made a tremendous difference in the classroom dynamics. I LOVE my classroom and the resources you helped to fund.”

Funded Sep 20, 2023My students are so excited with our new classroom resources. It has been such booster for the classroom morale and an incentive for class participation. Students take turns in our VIP financial literacy stations. They reported feeling so "grown up" and motivated by our community classroom center. So much so, that we have a new system of seating rotation. They all take turns in our VIP area and it has increased the work productivity.
We practice real life skills and they reported that they feel like business executives. They have now asked other teachers to implement the same classroom community centers. The student's can't wait to come into my classroom thanks to you!”

Funded Oct 27, 2022Thank you so much for your support in such a stressful Time. I have used the resources to help my students with stress and it has made the culture in my school a lot more manageable. Students look forward to face to face interactions instead of the tech devices. During their lunch period I have taken time to sit with them and do fun activities. This has decreased the behavior incidents and my students seem to be much more relaxed. I will continue to create a nurturing and relaxing environment so that my students can continue to grow and manage their emotions.”
