  • Student-Driven Food Pantry

    I want to express my heartfelt thanks for your generosity in supporting our school pantry. My students are incredibly grateful because they are able to get snacks as needed throughout the week. Having a full belly helps to keep students engaged and in a good mood, enabling them to focus on their work when their basic needs are met.

    Our class dynamics have improved significantly, as students are rewarded for their good behavior, completing their classwork, and following directions. This project has opened my eyes to the number of students who come to school hungry and struggle to complete their work. It has made me more aware of the basic needs of my students, and with your support, I have been able to meet those needs.”

  • Community Building in the Classroom

    The concept of community building has been redefined with the assistance of your support and generosity. My students have developed an outstanding community area within our classroom, as a result of our collective efforts. Our team worked together, enabling the students to acquire skills in following instructions and collaborating.

    The community classroom center serves as a haven for students to resolve problems peacefully. Additionally, students can independently convene to discuss their disagreements, thereby promoting a peaceful environment. This section has also served as a coping mechanism for students who are feeling stressed or upset.

  • Community Building in the Classroom Part 2

    Community building took a whole new meaning! Thanks to your support and generosity my students created a wonderful community area in the classroom. We first started by working together as a team. Students learned to follow instruction and collaborate with each other.

    The community classroom center serves as a place of refuge and a place for problem solving. Students take the initiative to independently meet and discuss their disagreements peacefully. Additionally, when students feel stressed or upset they spend time in this section as a way to cope.

  • Virtual Racing and Boxing

    Words cannot express how thankful we are for your generosity. The playstation has been one of the favorite items during recess. Since our building's backyard has been under construction we needed to provide indoor socialization activities. Thanks to your donation, my students were engaged and looked forward to coming to school. Attendance has been a huge issue in our school. Since the creation of our game room our attendance has gone up.

    Having an opportunity to socialize since the pandemic is very important. Students are taking turns to play without any issues. Additionally, the PS4 has served as an incentive for good behavior.

These times are very tough and my students are very lucky to have people like you make it a lot easier.
