Lunar New Year
Funded Dec 20, 2024Thank you for your generous support in providing snacks and decorations for our Lunar New Year celebration! The excitement on my students' faces when they walked into our beautifully decorated event. The vibrant colors, festive atmosphere, and traditional treats created an immersive experience that made our learning truly come alive.
We used this opportunity to explore cultural traditions, discuss symbolism, and make meaningful connections to our own diverse backgrounds. Sharing snacks sparked conversations about food traditions from different cultures, allowing students to practice language skills in an authentic and engaging way.
This celebration not only deepened our understanding of Lunar New Year but also reinforced our classroom's sense of community and inclusivity. Moving forward, we will continue incorporating cultural celebrations into our learning, using these experiences to foster curiosity, respect, and appreciation for the world around us.
Thank you again for making this possible—you've given my students an unforgettable experience!”

Funded Sep 20, 2024Thank you so much for your generous support in providing the essential resources we needed in our classroom! With your help, we now have items like tissues, better lighting, a cozy new chair, and treats that have truly transformed our daily routines and the learning environment for my students.
When my students first noticed the upgrades, they couldn't contain their excitement! The new lighting brightened our space in every sense of the word, creating a warmer, more inviting atmosphere. My students immediately noticed how much easier it was to read, write, and stay focused. They even commented on how "fancy" it felt to have such a well-lit and welcoming classroom. And the new chair? It quickly became a favorite spot for reading activities. The comfort of it has encouraged many reluctant readers to dive into their books with more enthusiasm, transforming our reading sessions into a calming, enjoyable experience.
The tissues and candy might seem small, but they make a huge difference. The tissues help us all stay comfortable and healthy, especially as we head into colder months, while the candy adds a fun reward that motivates them to work hard.
Thank you once again for your kindness and support. You're not just providing supplies—you're enriching our classroom environment and inspiring my students to learn and grow. We're all so grateful!”

Funded Oct 7, 2022My students and I are enjoying the new chairs that have allowed flexible seating in my classroom. When the children are overwhelmed or in between tasks, I have found them in the back of the room completing their assigned tasks or reading a book from my library. My students reacted when they first saw the new materials with excitement and they were eager to start using them. Some days we often need to rotate who is allowed to sit there to make sure everyone has an equal opportunity of the chairs.
My next steps for my students is to have them to continue to utilize the flexible seating in the back. In addition for future projects, I would like to continue building a comfortable and safe learning environment in my classrooms.”
