Cool, Calm & COZY!
Funded Oct 25, 2023As a special education teacher in a Pre-K classroom, it is sometimes challenging to keep all of my students engaged and focused during circle time. When our new carpet was delivered to our classroom, I assigned my students rug spots. I assigned them each a different pattern leaf to sit on, and something so small made them so excited.
Our new carpet was the perfect way to help us establish a better routine during circle time. My students have plenty of room and are super cozy on our rug.
My students and I want to say thank you and we appreciate it more than you know!”
With gratitude,

Funded Sep 12, 2023Thank you all so much for your generous donation to my project. My students were so excited when we received our new water table. With our water table, they are able to explore their sensory needs! My students now have the opportunity to use their fine motor skills to play with sand, cotton, paper strips, etc. They love how the water table activity changes for each month as we switch to a new unit. We currently have different textured items in the water table as we explore our My Five Senses Unit. We all appreciate your donations more than you know!”

Funded Oct 5, 2022My students have been greatly impacted by the resources donated to our classroom. We received special items for our Dramatic Play Area that has allowed my students to explore and use their imaginations even more than before. During the holiday season, my students enjoyed using the coffee pot and cake mixer when our Dramatic Play Area was turned into a Bakery with a Hot Coco/Coffee Station.
When my students first saw our new materials, they were extremely excited. The materials were delivered to the classroom in big boxes and I asked them to guess what they thought might be inside of the boxes. My students immediately wanted to open every toy and play with it. With these donated items, my students were able to further explore their imaginations in several centers in the classroom.
The donated resources are valuable for all units throughout the school year. We are excited to incorporate them in all of our centers. One of the materials we received was Insect Sorters. My students are able to use this to practice sorting, while also using their fine-motor skills with the insect scoopers. I plan to use the scoopers in other centers as well, such as the sensory table, for students to pick up different materials. Overall, these materials have had a huge impact on my students and we are extremely thankful for all of our donors!”
