• Sensory Tools Needed

  I am very grateful for your support and donation. My students with special needs have a very hard time grasping language concepts, such grammar, sequencing, labeling items and organizing ideas/thoughts, in addition to some demonstrating articulation deficiencies and they especially have a difficult time when they have sensory needs. Through your donation of the sensory tools, I am able to help my students be able to engage in the fun learning activities that I have to offer for speech therapy by giving them the sensory tools that helped them to focus and balance their senses. The red dog has been named Clifford and many of the students request either the lap dog or neck wrap. Some kids request both! I've been able to help many of the kindergarten students stay seated for longer periods of time because they don't want Clifford to fall onto the floor. The weighted lap blanket has demonstrated immediate results with helping the older students to calm down so that they can be more attentive. Every one of my students anticipates using the sensory tools that help them engage in their speech therapy sessions. Your donation made this possible. • Speech Therapy Adapted Books and Activities

  I am very grateful for your support and donation. My students with special needs have a very hard time grasping language concepts, such grammar, sequencing, labeling items and organizing ideas/thoughts, in addition to some demonstrating articulation deficiencies. Through your donation of the gift cards on TpT.com, I was able to find and purchase fun, engaging activities and have access to resources that helped them to expand their speech and language skills and abilities. Many of the activities and resources that I was able to purchase using your donation were tied to books that are aligned to the curriculum, which not only help to increase my students' literacy skills but also provide a continuance to what they are being taught in the classroom. Every one of my students looks forward to and are delighted to see new activities each session. Your donation made this possible. I am forever grateful for your support and generosity. Thank you.”

• Speech Therapy Basics

  Thank you so much for your donation of the extra large cartridges of color and black printer ink, velcro, wite-out, and laminating paper! These materials are so needed as our school's copier machine isn't reliable and there isn't always an available person in the office that can make copies once they have been submitted. Thanks to you all, I was able to print and make copies from my personal printer and laminate the adapted books and visual sentence strips needed to conduct the speech therapy sessions that my students deserve. I was able to utilize Velcro to make the books and sentence strips interactive. My students have special needs and they have a very hard time grasping language concepts, such grammar, sequencing, labeling items and organizing ideas/thoughts, in addition to some demonstrating articulation deficiencies. When I found or created activities to help them expand their speech and language skills and abilities, I was able to print them without hesitation because of donors like you. Many of the activities and resources that I am able to print and laminate help to increase my students' literacy skills and also provide a continuance to what they are being taught in the classroom.
