  • Organization Leads to Success!

    Thank you so much for allowing our classroom to feel organized and complete. My students and I enjoyed unboxing our new materials and have used so many of them throughout the year. The Sharpies and paper clips are of daily use in our room. I plan to have my students create their own stickers with the full sized sheets of stickers to welcome Spring in the coming weeks. We love the colored tape, special labels for our folders, and the students favorite: the fancy pencil sharpener!

  • Morning Creativity!

    Thank you again for your generosity to our classroom! Second grade has been filled with imagination and creativity, with thanks to our amazing STEM bins. Students love building with legos, designing new tower structures with magnetic tiles, and solve the puzzles. These STEM bins have encouraged communication amongst my students as they share at a table. My students are excited to bring out STEM bins whenever we get the chance and have truly loved using the materials.

  • Focus for Test Takers!

    Thank you so much for contributing to our classroom community. I am a fifth grade teacher to 24 sweet, intelligent, and thoughtful students. When I told them we had donors contribute to our classroom supplies, they were excited to see what we received. The students have taken excellent care of the test taking folders, and are quick to grab them each time we work on an independent assessment.

    In fifth grade we spend time teaching our scholars test taking strategies, as it is a test taking grade. One of the main strategies I focus on with my kids is teaching them to slow down and focus on each question. Having their own space and privacy whole taking a test has been very helpful for my students. They are able to focus on what they are doing, rather than their neighbor, and really read carefully.
