  • Providing Classroom Supplies for Mississippi Middle School Students

    Funded Sep 17, 2023

I am thrilled to share with you the profound impact your generosity has had on our students. Thanks to your support, we have been able to provide essential school supplies that have significantly enhanced our students' learning experiences and academic success.

Before your donation, many of our students came to school each day without basic supplies such as pencils, paper, and folders. This lack of materials was a constant barrier to their participation in classroom activities, leading to frustration and disengagement. Our teachers, though dedicated, were stretched thin as they tried to cover the shortfall with their own resources. Your contribution has transformed this situation in remarkable ways.

Pencils: The simple act of providing pencils has made an immediate and noticeable difference. Students who were once hesitant to engage in note-taking, writing assignments, or problem-solving activities are now actively participating in class. The anxiety of not having a pencil is no longer a distraction, allowing them to focus entirely on their learning.

Construction Paper: This versatile material has sparked a wave of creativity throughout our classrooms. From vibrant art projects that brighten our hallways to hands-on science experiments that make learning tangible, construction paper has become a cornerstone of our students' educational journey. The confidence they gain from creating something with their own hands is immeasurable.

Folders: Organization is a crucial skill, and with the folders you've provided, our students are learning to keep their work neat and orderly. This has led to a significant improvement in their ability to track assignments, manage deadlines, and take responsibility for their own learning. The impact on their academic performance has been overwhelmingly positive.

Anchor Charts: These visual aids have revolutionized our teaching methods. Anchor charts now serve as constant, accessible references that reinforce key concepts and aid in comprehension. Students frequently refer to these charts during lessons, leading to deeper understanding and better retention of the material. The difference in their grasp of complex topics is truly remarkable.

The ripple effect of your generosity extends far beyond the immediate classroom environment. Students who were once disengaged are now excited to come to school. Their increased confidence and enthusiasm for learning have also had a positive impact on their peers, creating a more vibrant and collaborative classroom atmosphere.

Your support has not only provided our students with the tools they need to succeed but has also shown them that they are valued and worthy of investment. This sense of worth is empowering them to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits and beyond.

On behalf of our entire school community, I want to express our deepest gratitude for your kindness. Your donation has made a lasting impact on our students' lives, and we are immensely grateful.”

The excitement around the esports team is palpable, and it is providing a new avenue for students to connect with one another, build a sense of community, and develop important soft skills like teamwork, communication, and leadership.

Moreover, this program is giving our students a safe and inclusive space to explore their interests and talents. For many, it serves as a powerful incentive to attend school regularly, behave positively, and strive for academic success. Your support has made it possible for us to offer these students a unique opportunity that they may not have had otherwise.

We are incredibly thankful for your belief in our mission to empower our students through technology and education. Your generosity is not just an investment in gaming equipment; it is an investment in the future of our students, providing them with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive.

Thank you once again for making a difference in the lives of our students. We look forward to sharing the successes and achievements that your support will undoubtedly help us reach.”

  • Supporting Clean and Safe Learning Environments for Underprivileged Students

    Funded Oct 5, 2023

My students were so happy to get the Kleenex and wipes for our classroom. We had not had any hand wipes or cleaning wipes in a while and they started using the products right away.

One of my classese decided that they would clean all the tables, chairs, desktops and computers in the classroom with the Clorox wipes. They actually made a fun project out of it. We were really surprised to see all the dirt and grime that came off our desks. The wipes and paper towels turned black.

The Kleenex have been very appreciated as we were using toilet tissue to blow our noses before the Kleenex. In our area, with all the pollen, most students have allergies and the Kleenex have helped ease some of the roughness associated with the tissue.

We look forward to continuing to use the products that were donated.”
