• Project New Chair

  Thank you so much for your donations. We are slowly building a space where our students and staff have a place to sit and meet and decompress. It is so nice to have pieces that are brand new. We're so used to used hand-me-downs. It's a thrill to have something new and comfortable.

  We held student council interviews last week in the room with new furniture and everyone involved was thrilled. It really helps morale on all sides. When a teacher, student, or parent needs a space to collect their thoughts or meet with the powers that be, it helps tremendously.”

• Books For My Seniors

  Thank you so much for these books. They have enriched the lives of all of my students, and they loved Midsummer Night's Dream. Anytime I can get my students to read anything, it is a win in my book. Understanding the story's complexity, the students could engage in productive conversation about the theme, central idea, and life in Elizabethan times.

  The students also loved performing the piece. Especially when they were able to perform it in modern language, it did indeed take the fear out of Shakespeare.”
