  • Organizational Tools For Smooth Running Lessons!

    Funded Sep 26, 2023

I want to take this moment to express my deep gratitude for taking the time to donate to this project.

Organization is such an important factor for smooth running days while you teach and deliver effective lessons. This project has allowed me to keep the classroom organized for my students and create a space for them to easily access important tools around the classroom.

My goal is to maintain the classroom organized with the tools from this project for the rest of this school year and the future ones.

Thank you once again for your impact!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Davila

  • Writing Center!

    Funded Sep 26, 2023

I am writing to express my immense gratitude to you for taking the time to read about my project and donating to it. By donating you have reached many students that have been able to benefit from having this writing center in the classroom. Since the students in my class are in kindergarten, a big part of the day is dedicated to them writing and in the formation of their letters. The pencils donated have been a huge help, since we go through many pencils each week. The lined paper has helped a lot with the students letter and sentence formations. The colored paper has helped us in special projects and bulletin board presentations.

My students were very excited when they saw the materials and are very grateful. My students will continue to enjoy these valuable resources during our writing activities and projects. Thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Davila

  • Bilingual Books!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

During this time of the year we tend to reflect a lot about our year and the hope and goals for the new year to come. I can only say that I am extremely grateful with you, for choosing to donate these bilingual books to my class. Since the day the books arrived to my classroom, my students received these books with joy and couldn't wait to dive in and read them. What made these books so special was that my students could read them in their native Spanish language and also make connection to what the text said in English, since both languages were on each page. These books are special because they also speak about Hispanic figures that have had a huge impact in our society. My students enjoyed reading about them. Prior to receiving these books, we had learned about Hispanic figures like Cesar Chavez and Ellen Ochoa. When my students saw that they were some of the figures referenced in the book, they would excitedly point out to me that we had learned about some of these figures. These books have been a blessing and my students and I are grateful!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Davila
