  • Sprinkles of Encouragement, Motivation, and Incentives!

    Thank You so much for contributing to my project. My students were able to excitedly enjoy all the supplies. They really enjoyed the privacy boards, which helped many stay on task and focus on their particular activity.

    As an educator, I want all my students to thoroughly enjoy their reading. With the books in my project we were able to create 'book clubs" in which students read, had collaborative conversations about the characters and or plot of the story. Thanks to your generosity, I was able to get books for all my diverse readers in class. This spark their interest in the book and hopefully this sparks continues to flame into their love of books in general.

  • Expanding, Engaging and Enriching Students' Learning!

    Thanks to you, my students are really enjoying working in small groups using all the tools your generosity contributed. I am able to work with kids in a smaller setting ensuring they are understanding concepts and engaging them in their learning. They love to use color markers and sit on our new classroom rug to enjoy books and or work if they desire to have a different setting other than their desk. Again with your contributions, it has allowed students to use tools that otherwise they are not able to supply on their own. Thank you for making their learning a bit more engaging and colorful!!!”

  • Traveling Through Stories on the Magic Rug

    I want to thank you for all your donations. My students learned and became aware of how our climate is changing and how that affects us all on planet Earth. Thank you for the books and rug that were used to create research on how to create and develop a solar oven.

    In designing their solar ovens students also had to present reasons for creating a solar oven and how that could impact and help their own environment. Students became not only aware of our changing world, but become more conscious aware of their decisions when it comes to preserving earth. Thank you for providing these opportunities to my students!”

  • Happy Little Brains' Zen Zone

    I can not thank you enough for the difference you helped in creating a calming corner in my room. My students have benefitted by being able to express and identify their emotions. They then have been able to select a calming strategy such as reading one of the books donated, using the stress relieve balls, they are able to use the expression balls, color, learn different breathing techniques that can all help in regulating emotions. Although, we are still getting used to using a variety of tools and strategies, students are beginning to understand that at least they are feeling an emotions and use our poster to help identify the emotion. I think the more we practice the more little brains will learn to identify emotion but more importantly learn to regulate and calm down on their own. This is such an essential skill for life.”
