SEL Learning Materials
Funded Dec 30, 2024Thank you all for your help! My students will love using fidgets and having access to tactile learning materials. And thanks to you, they will have quality supplies and a great experience learning. It's going to be a wonderful opportunity for them to learn about emotions and to be able to demonstrate what they have learned/know. I can't wait for students to enjoy engaging in counseling in a fun and meaningful way.”

Ms. Emily
Calming Counseling Space
Funded Oct 15, 2024When my students saw the beanbag chair, posters, lights, and plants they were SO excited. They immediately noticed these positive changes in their counseling space and have taken to sitting in the bean bag chair whenever they can.
I have noticed such a difference in how my students react when they enter this new calming counseling space. Thanks to your help, students feel calmer, relaxed, safe, and connected to the space they are in.
With your help, my students are thriving knowing they have a safe and comfortable space to come for counseling.”

Help Provide Books for a School Counseling Library!
Funded Apr 18, 2023Thank you SO much for helping me provide books for my school counseling library! Building this library would not have been possible without you.
Thanks to you, I am able to use these new books to teach coping skills and help students understand personal space. I am also better able to support students who are experiencing grief and loss.
In school counseling, I read books with students and follow up with various activities that help students process what they have learned. It is wonderful to see how students can transfer the skills they learned from reading books into real life social situations.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Town Fair Tire Foundation Inc. and one other donor.Help Students Identify Their Emotions!
Funded Dec 31, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donations to my project "Help Students Identify Their Emotions!". This allowed me to provide all students who have so far completed a social/emotional learning lunch group with plushies that allow them to express their emotions.
This project provided me with dark/light blue plushies and black/rainbow plushies. When the students first saw these materials they were surprised and elated! Almost every student immediately flipped the plushie inside and out to see what the different emotions were and then chose one to represent how they were feeling in that moment.
Since receiving the plushies, the students have been able to nonverbally express their feelings both in and out of school. They have found new ways to express their emotions and use various coping skills.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Emily
