I want to thank you so much for the new 3-D printer filament. My students were so excited to see all the new colors that we got. We tested out the blue and I know my students are so excited to see more of their projects come to life as we continue to learn more about 3-D printing. I am excited to see what they come up with and see how they choose what color or colors to make their creations. The filaments came at the perfect time and now we can use something other than gray for our prints. My students appreciate this so much!”

Thank you so much for helping me get materials for my students to use. They have loved getting to build with all the new materials especially the Snap Circuits. My students have loved all of the circuit projects that they can make with the kits and they keep asking to work with them over and over. I would have to say that the Snap Circuits have been the most exciting new item to my students. My youngest learners have loved all of the new building materials especially the plus plus blocks. They love the variety of colors we have and how they can connect them to make just about anything they can imagine. They are also great for working on fine motor skills. We have loved everything that we got and we cannot say thank you enough!”
I want to thank you so much for choosing to help fund my project. My students are so excited to use the new Botley robots that we got. They are looking forwarding to using the robots to help them learn more about coding and the importance of sequence. I also plan to use the robots to help enforce the importance of knowing directions and using that to make your way through a maze. We are also very thankful for the cleaning supplies, crayons, color pencils, headphones, and pencils. We use these kinds of consumable items to clean our shared space, work on unplugged activities, and to replace headphones as needed. The Legos were also very celebrated as we needed new ones to help replace some that had been lost. The students love using them to create many things like houses, robots, cars and towers. Again we are very thankful and are excited to use these items this school year.”

I want to tell how much my students have loved the Lego kits! When I opened them up, they were all very excited to get to use them. I have been able to use them for whole class stations and will be using them in the near future for a Lego club for my younger students. I have had students use the new kits to make some wonderful creations. One young man worked really hard and made a Ferris wheel. We are so thankful that we are able to use these new Lego kits to be even more creative. The students have been asking me if we can incorporate the Lego Education website into the centers so that they can see some of the builds and the units that go along with the Legos. I plan to have them use that technology instead of just free building or using task cards. I think it will be great for small group projects. WE are so appreciative of these new opportunities!”

Thank you so much for your help with making the speed builds come to life. My students have enjoyed the challenge of building under time constraints. The materials that were purchased allowed me to offer my students a larger variety of building tools. My 5th graders really enjoyed the new Base Ten Blocks and the challenge of building with them. I have enjoyed seeing them work and really think about what they want to make. I added Brain Flakes to the mix to see how they would work with that material. My students were so excited when we got our new materials in. They were all so curious as to what we got and how we would use them. The Linking Cubes were the easiest for them to build with since they connect together much like Legos. The most challenging to work with was the Base Ten Blocks but my students loved that extra challenge. The next steps for my classes will be to have them work even closer with the Design Process and see what they can create. I am planning on a whole class challenge where each class will have to work together to create their project. I am hoping to spark their imagination and see what they come up with using only the provided materials.”
