  • Literacy and Math Center Activities

    I just want to start off by saying thank you from the bottom of my heart. It is people like you who help teachers like me give all students the opportunities they deserve. My students were extremely excited when I opened the boxes and showed them the different "center" activities/games and books that we received. They could not wait to get their hands on everything. Every week we "bookshop" for books to put in the students reading baggies for them to take home, read and share with their families. Every Monday, they cannot wait to "bookshop" again and borrow other books. The games have been fabulous for "center" time because the activities keep the students engaged giving me time to work with small groups. Thank you so much!”

  • The Joys of Reading!

    I just want to take this opportunity to thank you personally for your generous donation to my students and myself. We are so fortunate to have people like you in this world who like to help people like me who are teaching the children of our future who are not as fortunate as others.

    The students were absolutely thrilled when we received our books. Each week my students "book shop" which means borrow 8 to 10 books from my class library and take them home each night to read daily for homework. The students keep these books in a reading baggie and at the beginning of each week switch the books for new books. The Piggie & Elephant and Pigeon books are a big hit in my classroom for the students to borrow each week. They are definitely an asset to have in assisting my students in learning to read as well as instilling the love of reading.
